John Taylor

The John Taylor Band (from left: Scott Marino, Shan Kenner, John Taylor, Gilbert Bowser)

John Taylor is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music and holds a Masters in Music (M.M.) from Cal State Northridge.  He works professionally as both a keyboardist and trumpet player and has toured as trumpet player and section leader with The Charlie Daniels Band.  Other members of the John Taylor Band have worked with the Doobie Brothers, Maynard Ferguson, Anita Baker, Woody Herman and Chuck Mangione.  He has recorded a solo jazz CD, Cage Free, and a childrens' CD, You Can Always Count On Me, in colaboration with his wife, vocalist Angela Taylor.
