Fans and followers of contemporary music need no introduction to Max Bennett. An internationally renown bassist and composer, Max has an impressive background and list of credits. The scope of his experience spans from concert touring and recording to composing music for feature films and television as well as being one of the most famous studio musicians in jazz.
Max has toured and/or recorded with such diverse and legendary artists as Charlie Parker, Stan Getz, Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis, Quincy Jones, Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Joni Mitchell, Barbara Streisand, Frank Sinatra, Kenny Rogers, the Beach Boys, Steely Dan, Frank Zappa, the Temptations and the Four Tops.
Max is credited as one of the modern era's most influential jazz players having pioneered, along with fellow L.A. Express members Joe Sample, Larry Carlton, John Guerin and Tom Scott, the jazz-rock fusion sound which now surpasses even traditional jazz in popularity.
